Commission provides comment period extension
on climate disclosure policy

 

Winnipeg – The Manitoba Securities Commission is
extending the comment period on
proposed climate-related
disclosure requirements by an additional 30 days, due to ongoing impacts of the Omicron
COVID-19 variant.

 

Comments on
National Instrument 51-107 Disclosure
of Climate-related Matters
and its companion policy will now be accepted
until Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022.

All Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) members are granting this
extension.
