Real Estate Service Standards

Manitoba legislation requires registrants to submit renewal applications a minimum of 30 days before their current registration expires. Late applications may be delayed in processing and create gaps in registration.

The real estate division strives to meet the following application timelines:

Application type	Reviewed and processed within:
Brokerage / Individual Applicants – Renewal	By the day the registration expires
Brokerage / Individual Applicants – New Registration	First review within 4 weeks of receipt
Individual Applicants – Transfer	10 days of receipt*

*: Transfer processing time depends on whether the new and previous brokerages submitted the required items to us within the same 10 days of receiving your application.
